Welcome to Breelove's healing library! 

As you engage with our material, we want to acknowledge that some of the content may evoke strong emotions. You might encounter topics that feel familiar to your own experiences, others that are entirely new, and some that may stir discomfort, sadness, overwhelm, or even some unexpected reactions.

Your well-being is our top priority.

If you find yourself feeling activated, overwhelmed, or unsettled at any point, we encourage you to honour your needs and:
  • Pause the video or step away from the material.
  • Take a few deep, grounding breaths — inhale slowly through your nose, hold briefly, and exhale gently through your mouth.
  • Place your feet flat on the floor, noticing how the ground supports you.
  • Engage in gentle somatic practices like stretching, shaking out tension, or holding a comforting object.
  • If it feels supportive, reach out to someone you trust, or create space for reflection in a journal.
  • If you want to talk to someone about what you're feeling, you can book a free session with us through the Community Counselling Program's Free Clinic on Mondays and Wednesdays, too! 
  • If you’re in need of immediate or emergency support and we’re not available, please call or text the national crisis line at 988.


Most importantly, give yourself permission to feel without judgment. Healing isn’t linear, and your reactions are valid, whether big or small.
